You're a good leader, but what if you could be a stronger leader? What if your strengths could be multiplied and enhanced to the power of 10? They can! The 2007—The Power of 10: Children's Leaders Summits are coming, and they won't be your average, run-of-the-mill conferences. In them, you'll learn from children's pastors and interact with leaders just like yourself. Imagine sitting down with other children's leaders who are as passionate as you are about what you do. Now imagine leaders, like you, learning from leaders—putting your brains together and finding out what works and what doesn't, what's in and what's not, what's successful and what fails. These summits are designed to do just that—because we all know there is strength and power in numbers. You'll have the opportunity to bring your challenges and questions to the table and walk away with answers!

Ten powerful leadership principles—including Conflict Management, Recruiting, and How to Build A Family Ministry—will be emphasized to meet your individual leadership needs and questions. The Children's Leaders Summits will offer small-group, roundtable discussions and large-group discussions led by experienced leaders who'll share their ideas, successes, and failures—giving you practical and innovative approaches for leading your children's ministry program with power. The following format will be followed in the summits, providing participants with the following learning opportunities

  • The Buzz: Topical large-group discussions related to the 10 leadership principles
  • Interact: Multi-topic, small-group roundtable discussions focusing on individual leadership issues
  • 10-Spot: Main sessions with guest speakers speaking on many of the top 10 leadership principles

Wait! There's more! A pre-summit session is available before each summit for leaders who want a jump on The Power of 10. Attend early and join these exciting, one-day opportunities! See the schedule provided.

After each full day of activity and learning, evenings are kept free to relax and unwind. There will also be optional large-group activities filled with fun and fellowship. The summits are located in vacation destinations, so you are encouraged to bring your spouse and enjoy these locations together.

There really is strength in numbers, so put The Power of 10 in you and attend one or both of these innovative children's leadership summits.
